Wonderful, Whimsical Journals

Journaling is a form of self expression in which you share your thoughts and feelings.

But it is so much more than that.

As adults, journaling is a portal to the soul.

It is stepping into your personal power, creating the life you once dreamed of having, and following your heart. It is connecting to your intuition to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. It is unlocking your light, illuminating your soul’s path, and stepping into your truest being.

Journaling is about finding yourself. Knowing yourself. Loving yourself. Coming home to yourself.

Journaling has the power to change your mindset and mood and shift your perspective. Journaling is a powerful, empowering tool to guide you in regulating your emotions and allowing you to release what’s on your mind and heart.

Words are powerful.

They have the power to help us express ourselves and shift our thoughts and feelings.
Words allow us to connect with ourselves and those around us on a deeper level.

Words are the magic that we hold within; magic I truly believe every child should hold on to.

Wolf and Whimsy Kids started with my love for writing.
When I was a kid I carried around a journal with vibrant colours and a picture of Tweety Bird on the cover.
 wrote songs, stories, and poems.
Mostly for myself but also for my friends and family.
My mom would even have my poems published in the local newspaper.

Reading, writing, journaling, and creativity have been the things that have helped me transform my life. They have been the things that have helped me share my magic with others.

Now, I share my spark with kids as a reminder:

Words are the power that is creativity, inspiration, and self-expression.

THE INSIDE SCOOP

Imagine if your kids had...

an outlet to release all of the goings-on of the day?

a safe space of their own to share their thoughts and feelings?

a creative outlet where they could share their fun ideas and learn how to express themselves creatively?

a space to learn about self-awareness, intrinsic motivation, perseverance, and so much more?

a safe space to unload their mind and relieve stress, overwhelm, and anxiety?

Imagine if your kids were
happier, healthier, and heart-led

the journals from Wolf and Whimsy Kids are different..

MATCHING
GROWN-UP JOURNALS!

Empowerment

CREATED WITH YOUR CHILD'S AGE IN MIND

These journals are created with age-appropriate journal prompts, activities, and creative outlets. Both the kids and toddler journals include creative pods where they get to express themselves through colouring & drawing, guided imagery, creative story-telling experiences, & so much more!

Each journal comes with a MATCHING grown-up version! You and your child(ren) can spend more mindful time together reflecting on the day, learning about social-emotional wellbeing, and getting creative! Together, you can be happier, healthier, and heart-led! And don't forget the added bonus of reflecting on your personal experiences!

These journals are designed to help your child(ren) feel empowered by leaning into their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I am a FIRM believer that children should be empowered in their social-emotional wellbeing. When we allow children to feel empowered, they learn how to regulate their emotions and feel more control over their experiences.

Wolf and Whimsy Kids is such an inspiring and playful brand!
My boys love to do the different mindfulness activities she shares.

We really enjoy her book “ROAR like a Dragon”. The book gives exercises that the kids can learn to do on their own and/or with their parent which teaches them emotional development and intelligence as well as nervous system regulation. It allows you to use your imagination and transform into the different animals creating a fun & connecting experience for all!

As a homeschool mom and a registered nurse, I highly recommend to check out all this brand has to offer!

It is a beautiful way to expand and grow with your littles whether you are a mama, homeschool teacher, grandparent, love and care for a child in anyways and hey let’s be real.. we all have a inner child within us that would love to come out and play using this fun techniques!!

The book that you sent [ROOOAAARRR! Like A Dragon] just arrived, so we got to read it to the kids last night, and they loved it.

It's a beautiful book.
Thank you so much for sending it to us.

I love that you incorporated beautiful breathing exercises and imaginal mindfulness. That's just perfect…perfect for kids.

Perfect for where my kids are developmentally right now.
So thank you.

NO. THE PAGES INSIDE THIS JOURNAL ARE NOT DATED SO YOU CAN START WHENEVER YOU’D LIKE 🙂

Are the pages dated?

NO! ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME WHEN CREATING THIS JOURNAL WAS THAT IT NOT BE MONOTONOUS. THE JOURNALLING PROMPTS CHANGE DAILY, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME OF THE SAME PROMPTS THROUGHOUT THE MONTH.

are the journaling prompts the same daily?

JOURNALLING HAS BEEN PROVEN TO REDUCE STRESS, ANXIETY, AND BE A SAFE SPACE TO LET GO OF THE DAY. WE OFTEN DON’T LIKE TO THINK THAT OUR KIDS ARE STRESSED OR DON’T REALIZE JUST HOW ANXIOUS & OVERWHELMED THEY TRULY ARE.

AS AN ADULT, KID PROBLEMS SEEM TRIVIAL. BUT TO A KID, THEY ARE A BIG DEAL. JUST AS WE, AS ADULTS, NEED TO RELEASE STRESS AND REST, SO DO OUR KIDS.

I DESIGNED IT’S A WONDERFUL, WHIMSICAL WORLD OF WRITING TO HELP KIDS DEVELOP SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS SUCH AS SELF-ESTEEM, REFLECTION, PERSPECTIVE-TAKING

how will this journal help my kids?

THE TODDLER JOURNALS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE KIDS JOURNALS... THEY HAVE TO BE!

TODDLERS CAN’T WRITE.
THEY’RE JUST LEARNING THE ALPHABET AND HOW TO HOLD A PENCIL.

IN ADDITION TO WHAT’S INSIDE THE KIDS JOURNAL, THE TODDLER EDITION INCLUDES SPACE FOR DRAWING & COLOURING, RATHER THAN WRITING.

THIS JOURNAL ALSO INCLUDES SPACE FOR FINE MOTOR SKILLS SUCH AS TRACING AND COLOURING WITHIN LINES. FINALLY, THIS JOURNAL PROVIDES LETTER AND NAME-WRITING PRACTICE!

how are the toddler journals different?

Inside the kids journal you will find:
• 3 JOURNALING PROMPTS PER DAY FOR 31 DAYS
• DAILY REFLECTION SPACE
• WEEKLY GOALS SHEETS
• WEEKLY CREATIVE PODS
• BEST THINGS OF THE MONTH REVIEW
• GUIDED IMAGERY SCRIPT

what's inside the kids journals?

INSIDE THE KIDS JOURNAL YOU WILL FIND:
• 1 DRAWING JOURNALING PROMPT PER DAY FOR 31 DAYS
• WEEKLY GOALS SHEETS
• WEEKLY CREATIVE PODS
• ALPHABET/LETTER RECOGNITION & PRACTICE
• NAME WRITING PRACTICE
• GUIDED IMAGERY SCRIPT
• DAILY EMOTIONS CHECK-IN

what's inside the toddler journals?

inside the grown-up journals you will find the exact same pages as the kids & toddler journals!

This way, you have the same prompts, goal setting pages, coloring pages, etc.

There are only a few slight differences: for example. the space for the kids to write their name and draw their picture, instead of drawing your own, the prompt is for your children to do it! then you have a beautiful memory and see how your kids see you!

what's inside the grown up journals?

What if your kids could be haPPier, healthier, and heart-led?

and what if you could be a part of it?

That is why I created It’s a Wonderful, Whimsical World of Writing for Grown Ups!

I wanted to be able to help you connect with your kids on a deeper level by creating a safe space to spend more mindful quality time with them.

While your kids are learning how to appropriately and effectively manage their emotions and how to be more mindful and self-aware, you are learning more about them, how they are feeling, and what they are experiencing in their lives, while also sharing your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

As an adult, it is so easy to think that the things our kids are experiencing, feeling, and thinking are trivial.
But to a kid, they are a big deal.

Kids want to know that you understand.
They want to know that you are a safe space for them to confide in.
They want to know that they are not alone.
Something as simple as five-journalling-minutes per day can show them just that.

Sharing the experience of journaling with your kids will help you to develop a better understanding of their thought and belief patterns, how they are interpreting their experiences, as well as help you to share your own feelings and experiences with them.

Imagine if..

you could connect with your kids on a deeper level?

you had a safe space where you could share your own experiences and feeling with your kids?

you could share the experience of journaling with your kids to help you develop a better understanding of their thought and belief patterns, how they are interpreting their experiences?

your kids knew that you understood them? that they are not alone?

your kids knew that you are a safe space for them to confide in?

you could spend more mindful quality time with your kids to strengthen your relationship?

At Wolf and Whimsy Kids the goal is simple: empower kids and activate their magic.
